DNS domain information

DNS is a hierarchical domain name system.

DNS servers and a protocol of the same name are exchanged, exchanging information. Its cause and the main task is the mutual transfers of domain names and IP nodes of the network.

Nowadays, it has other features (such as IP telephony or e-mail) and serves as a distributed database of network information.
